When a passion for food meets science

Erin completed her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She returned home to Tasmania where she grew up on a local organic farm.

Erin is passionate about food from growing and preparing it, to its interaction with the human body. Erin’s areas of particular interest include chronic disease management including diabetes, heart disease and obesity.

Erin works out of her practice at 28 Elphin Road, Launceston and is available for consultation by appointment Tuesday's Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Erin loves to work with people who have (or are at risk) of developing diabetes. Through her dietetics practice, she helps her patients manage their blood sugar levels and improve their health.

Erin also regularly works with people who would like to lose weight and helps people reduce their blood pressure and cholesterol.

I enjoy working with people on an individual basis to help them feel better by modifying their diet.

A love for food that runs in the family

Growing up on an organic veggie farm, Erin began to look at food a little differently and saw its incredible impact on people’s lives. At that time, Erin started to see and understand how food could impact your physical health the way you feel about yourself. Now through her clinical practice, Erin still strives to showcase how we everyone can enjoy food and thrive in a healthy lifestyle.
